The Man With Leprosy -- "A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" Immediately he was cured of his leprosy. [Matt. 8:2-3 New Int'l Version ("NIV")]
The Faith of the Centurion -- "When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. "Lord," he said, "my servant lies at home paralyzed and in terrible suffering." Jesus said to him, "I will go and heal him." The centurion replied, "Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and that one, 'Come,' and he comes. I say to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it." When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, "I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith." [Matt. 8:1-10 NIV] "Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go! It will be done just as you believed it would." And his servant was healed at that very hour." [Matt. 8:13 NIV]
Jesus Heals the Official's Son -- "When this man heard that Jesus had arrived from Galilee from Judea, he went to him and begged him to come and heal his son, who was close to death." [John 4:47 New Int'l Version ("NIV")] "The Royal official said, "Sir, come down before my child dies." Jesus replied, "You may go. Your son will live." The man took Jesus at this word and departed. While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living. When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him, "The fever left him yesterday at the seventh hour." Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him, "Your son will live." So he and all his household believed." [John 4:49-53 NIV]
